Aims

  • To contribute to a reduction in the risk of incidents involving employees driving various types of light motor vehicles that might result through conflict on the road, leading to property damage, injury or death.
  • To encourage the attendees to develop a culture of taking responsibility for the outcomes of their actions upon themselves and other road users.
  • To develop in the attendees a system based style of driving that reduces identified risks to a minimum

Outcomes

At the end of this Course participants should:

  • Understand the reasons why their participation in the driving course is required
  • Understand the particular issues and problems facing the drivers of light vehicles
  • Understand the possible effects of light vehicles on other road users
  • Understand the factors that affect an individual’s driving behaviour including the effects of stress fatigue and distractions
  • Show increased hazard perception and risk assessment skills
  • Display a planned and systematic defensive driving style
    • Understand how to avoid road crashes and that crashes are within a driver’s (their) control
  • Understand their social responsibility as a road user
  • Have updated their knowledge of road rules and procedures and understand why they should comply with the rules of the road


Safe & Fuel Efficient Driving/Eco Driving (it’s the same thing but the emphasis is more on fuel economy)

  • To encourage the attendees to develop a culture of taking responsibility for the outcomes of their actions upon themselves and other road users and the environment.
  • To develop in the attendees a system based style of driving that reduces identified risks to a minimum and maximises fuel efficiency, while reducing driver stress level

At the end of this Course participants should:

  • Understand the reasons why their participation in the driving course is required
  • Understand the particular issues and problems facing the drivers of light commercial vehicles
  • Understand the possible effects of choice of driving style on fuel economy and other associated cost areas

Forklift Operator Safety


Price : AED 250 per head

Duration : Half day (8:00-1200/12:30-16:30 )

Aims

  • To contribute to a reduction in the costs associated with Light and Heavy Forklift operations and reduce the risk of incidents involving employees operating various types of light and heavy forklift that might result through workplace negligence or conflict on the road.
  • To encourage the attendees to develop a culture of taking responsibility for the outcomes of their actions upon themselves, site users, other road users and the environment.
  • To develop in the attendees a system based style of vehicle operation that reduces identified risks to a minimum and maximizes operational efficiency, while reducing operator stress levels

At the end of this Course participants should:

  • Understand the reasons why their participation in the operator’s course is required
  • Understand the particular issues and problems facing the drivers of light and heavy forklifts
  • Understand the possible effects of light and heavy forklifts on site infrastructure, site users and other road users

Vehicle Fire Evacuation Training

Aims

  • To contribute to a reduction in vehicle fires through effective maintenance and raised awareness and to reduce the costs associated with vehicle fires involving light and heavy buses.
  • To encourage the attendees to develop a culture of taking responsibility for the outcomes of their actions upon themselves, their passengers, other road users and the environment.
  • To develop in the attendees a system based approach to the prevention of or response to vehicle fires

Outcomes

At the end of this Course participants should:

  • Recognize common causes of vehicle fires
  • Know how to reduce the risk of vehicle fires
  • Know when and how to use a fire extinguisher
  • Know how to safely evacuate a vehicle using


Internal Assessor Training Course


Price : AED 2900 per head (includes DDT course design & materials) Any additional training requirement is charged at AED 1650 per trainer per day

  • To encourage company drivers to develop a culture of taking responsibility for the outcomes of their actions upon themselves, other road users and the environment.
  • To develop in company drivers a system based style of driving that reduces identified risks to a minimum and maximizes fuel efficiency, while reducing driver stress levels
